+ shows in December, not confirmed yet: in Medford, with David Harris and friends for our annual Home show. I'll send you invitation for these two events when and If I know more about them.
Sitting on a bench in a garden somewhere in France, I am thinking about the upcoming shows I have to tell you about, yet I rather explore the country and sample the food -and the wines, so it will be a short newsletter and I am sure you will understand why!
I hope to see you this fall however, but if you cannot come, you can always go to my site to see what I am up to. I will update the list of venues as soon as there is a new one scheduled.
In the meantime, have a good day,
Yes, it is finally done! In English, in French, everything has been translated, corrected, proof-read (thanks Dana, Hannah, Peggy, Sara, and Sarah), only the printing is still to come. I did not want to do it this summer when I was not home to receive the shipment, so the book in its English version will be available sometime during the fall. You have its cover here as a preview. The French version will be available as an ebook, but I am not in charge of this part of the work, Olivier is, so I do not know when it will be done. I'll post the links to Amazon, Nook and ITunes on my website as soon as they are available.
Work in progress
I started experimenting with the idea of cartoons a few months ago when I downloaded an app allowing free hand drawing on my tablet, but I was not convinced by my first results, even though I liked the idea. In fact, I used to draw and paint figures when I was in France, so it is nothing new in itself, but this time, I wanted these figures to talk. I reworked the drawings after a while, sought advice for the layout and the texts (thanks Mohammed and Dana), but stopped again as I did not know how to proceed further. Now I think I know, but nothing is sure yet as it takes time for an idea to reach fruition. If it becomes a book, it will be called "Red, Green and Blue" and it will consist of cartoons, poems and photos illustrating or complementing a love story. To be continued.
